Précoce, ce cultivar est vraiment digne d'intérêt : il est attractif très tôt au printemps, offre une couleur fascinante et un port attrayant... Un bémol toutefois pour ce magnolia : sa rusticité reste à valider. Il a reçu un « prix spécial du jury » au salon allemand IPM Essen 2013.
